Viewing and photographing wildflowers is a passion of mine. On this page I will share photos of wildflowers I have found throughout East Tennessee during the spring and summer of 2020. They are not grouped in any particular order, although photos taken on the same day will often be grouped together.

I have labeled the photos with common names. There are many great websites and apps available to help identify wildflowers and that provide scientific names and more information such as when the bloom or what regions you may find them.

Most photos were taken with a Nikon D3400 using the 18-55mm kit lens. For macro photos, a macro filter was screwed onto that lens. At the beginning of May, I added a ring light to my equipment, allowing better illumination of the subject, especially in macro photos. A few of the photos were shot with my iPhone XR.
